The war has driven a mass exodus, with many risking their lives to escape the country under inhumane conditions. Tragically, numerous individuals have perished en route to the USA through Mexico; some have been killed, others incarcerated, molested, raped, and subjected to various other atrocities.
Now, there is a glimmer of hope as the warring factions agree that children should return to school. However, many children cannot return due to the crippling poverty that has taken root in their lives. These children are victims of circumstance, caught in a conflict, not of their making, and now facing an uncertain future.
